About Sigri

Sigri is one of the few unspoiled seaside villages of Lesvos. It remains uncommercialized, and visitors will experience traditional Greek village life during their stay here. With a year-round population of 400, Sigri is located “at the end of the road”, a 2-hour drive from the airport and island capital of Mytilene.
There are a number of beaches within walking distance of the village. The Petrified Forest and Museum, fort (kastro) and nearby Ipsilo monastery offer visitors a variety of daily excursions, and Sigri Surf Center gives the opportunity for wind and kite surfing on stunning beaches.
